Dehghanian wins People’s Choice honor
Dr. Paria Dehghanian, a fourth-year graduate student in the oral and craniofacial biomedical sciences program at Texas A&M College of Dentistry, received the People's Choice honor at the Three Minute Thesis competition Nov. 14 at Texas A&M University Graduate and Professional School in College Station. Mukherji shares Texas Dentist of the Year honor
Dr. Partha Mukherji, clinical assistant professor in comprehensive dentistry at Texas A&M College of Dentistry in Dallas, teaches dental students treatment fundamentals. However, his passion is advocating for the needs and interests of present and future general dentists. That dedication was saluted Sept. 12 in Austin as Mukherji and his longtime friend, Dr. Victor Rodriguez of Houston, owner of Clear Lake Dental Associates in Houston and an adjunct professor at UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry, were named co-recipients of 2025 Texas Dentist of the Year at Texas Academy Awards, Texas Academy of General Dentistry’s celebratory event. García named to Women in Business list
Dr. Lily T. García, dean of Texas A&M University College of Dentistry in Dallas, was celebrated Aug. 21 as one of Dallas Business Journal’s Women in Business honorees this year. García, who’s also a prosthodontist, was among 30 North Texas women chosen from more than 280 nominees. Read More

Mallonee honored for her service
Professor Lisa Mallonee, associate dean for faculty affairs at Texas A&M College of Dentistry in Dallas, was honored recently with a Chair of the ADEA Board of Directors Citation for her service to the American Dental Education Association. Mallonee, dually registered as a dental hygienist and a dietitian, was one of 10 members recognized at the annual meeting in National Harbor, Maryland. Read More
