Texas A&M University College of Dentistry faculty, dental students and dental hygiene students will offer oral screenings and dental kits to adults and children from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 5, at the city of Carrollton’s third-annual Health & Safety Fair at Standridge Stadium. In honor of National Dentist Day on March 6, Dallas County Commissioner Elba Garcia (District 4), a dentist herself, led a resolution earlier this week to name the day National Dentist's Day in Dallas County. Dean leads mission to Aggieland
Dr. Lily T. García, dean of Texas A&M College of Dentistry, led a team at the Texas Mission of Mercy's Brazos Valley free dental clinic this weekend in College Station. Students and faculty from the dental college in Dallas helped treat more than 700 patients and performed many of the 5,200 treatments during the two-day event. Read More
