It began as the State Dental College in 1905 at what is now the site of The Adolphus Hotel in Dallas with 40 students. Today, more than 9,000 students have graduated from the dental college. The dental college’s current campus in Old East Dallas, located on Gaston Avenue, boasts 587 students, including 106 first-year dental students and 32 first-year dental hygiene students pursuing bachelor’s degrees. Supervised by licensed and skilled faculty, they are educated and trained to provide patient care. A&M Dental is the largest oral health care provider in North Texas.
