Coats for student clinicians
First-year dental and second-year dental students at Texas A&M College of Dentistry celebrated white coat ceremonies on Nov. 5 at the Black Academy of Arts and Letters, located at Dallas’ convention center theater complex.
On-stage participants included Dr. Chad Capps ’08, ’14, president of the Texas A&M College of Dentistry Alumni Association; Dr. Stephen Griffin ’85, associate dean for clinical affairs; Dr. Ernie Lacy ’94, ’96, associate dean for student affairs; and Dr. Lynne Opperman, Regents Professor.
The Office of Student Affairs team planned and coordinated the ceremonies, which were sponsored by the college and the Alumni Association.
