Dewey Award for Tadlock
Dr. Larry Tadlock, 1984 alumnus and program director in orthodontics, received the Martin Dewey Memorial Award in September during the Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists and Southwestern Society of Orthodontists joint annual meeting in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
The Dewey Award, considered the highest honor for members of the Southwestern Society of Orthodontists, is presented on an annual basis to recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to the field of orthodontics.
Just this May, one aspect of Tadlock’s service to the profession commenced with an eight-year commitment to the American Board of Orthodontics, to which he was installed as secretary-treasurer and will eventually assume the position of president.
