Dr. Karen Foster, Class of 2002

Dr. Karen Foster was installed as president of the Colorado Dental Association during the organization’s 2018 annual session in Crested Butte, Colorado. Foster maintains a pediatric dentistry practice in Aurora and is a clinical associate professor at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine’s Special Care Clinic.

Foster’s term as the association’s 132nd president is not her first foray into organized dentistry; she has attended American Dental Association annual meetings as a delegate since 2005 and previously chaired the state’s dental political action committee. Service with the Metro Denver Dental Society board of directors led to a Volunteer of the Year award in 2012, followed by an Exceptional Leadership Award from the state association the following year.
