Dr. Pat Blanton’s latest accolade could well eclipse her remarkable collection of previous honors. The American Dental Association presented Blanton its 2017 Distinguished Service Award Oct. 19 during the ADA’s annual session in Atlanta.

This distinguished alumna, professor emeritus and Hall of Fame member at Texas A&M College of Dentistry recently served as interim dean of the James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine at Medical University of South Carolina.
