Employees celebrated with service awards
Almost 40 Texas A&M School of Dentistry faculty and staff members were recently recognized for their longtime service to the school.
Dean Lily García said it was important to thank and honor “our colleagues and friends for their loyalty to the mission of the dental school.”
“Our culture is important and should be based on respect since every person contributes to our overall success,” she said. “When you see people who have dedicated their work and professional lives to a place, it is clear that we all must value our colleagues and focus on keeping this a special and positive place as we move forward.”
Dr. Amp Miller topped the list of those honored with 50 years of service as of 2023.
Recognized for 35 years of service were: Dr. Monte Collins, Dr. Jacqueline Plemons and Dr. Emet Schneiderman.
Dr. Celeste Abraham and Dr. Ko-Yu Lin were honored for 30 years of service.
