Getting back in the swing of things
Getting children back-to-school ready was the focus of a health fair at Church of the Incarnation in Dallas, and Texas A&M College of Dentistry students were on hand to help with the cause.
“This was the first health fair our students participated in since the pandemic began,” said Dr. Amal Noureldin, clinical associate professor and assistant department head in public health sciences.
Dental and dental hygiene students provided dental screenings and fluoride varnishes to children and families attending the health fair, which was held August 19. Children also received required immunizations, sports physicals and backpacks filled with school supplies.
