Two Texas A&M College of Dentistry students competed March 1 in the CLARION competition hosted by TAMU Health’s Office of Interprofessional Practice, Education and Research in College Station. Dr. Lara Coseo, faculty member in comprehensive dentistry and the Director of Foundational Interprofessional Curriculum for the IPER Office, served as one of five judges for the competition.

Hanan Teklu, a third-year dental student, and Duyen Le, a second-year dental student, participated on separate interprofessional student teams to propose an innovative solution to a real health care problem. Teklu’s team won and will compete in the National CLARION Competition April 11-12 at the University of Minnesota. Le’s team won second place in the local competition.
