Liang elected to national board
Dr. Hui Liang has been elected as the director of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. Liang is interim director of radiology and interim director of the oral and maxillofacial radiology resident program at Texas A&M School of Dentistry.
Liang said she was grateful for the opportunity and looks forward to serving the profession in this capacity.
“This is a fantastic honor and certainly a memorable moment in my professional life,” she said. “This opportunity will also increase the national visibility of our advanced program in oral and maxillofacial radiology at TAMU School of Dentistry.”
Liang was elected to a five-year term in March. She will serve with four other diplomates on the board.
Dr. Madhu Nair, interim department head of diagnostic sciences and director of the imaging center, congratulated Liang on her achievement.
“She is eminently qualified to hold this position, and undoubtedly will serve our profession well in this new role,” he said.
