North Texas Giving Day 2013
25 is the magic number for this year’s “Get Up and Give” initiative. Find out why.
For 20 years, Baylor Oral Health Foundation has been one of the college’s strongest partners. Through fund management and oversight, BOHF has given more than $50 million to the dental school. Next week, students, faculty, staff and alumni get the chance to give back.
North Texas Giving Day 2013 is scheduled for Sept. 19, which means that those who want to give can simply access the DonorBridge website between 7 a.m. and midnight to make a donation to BOHF. During the annual giving day, a percentage of each donation of $25 or more will be matched, which means donors — and the dental school — get the most bang for their buck.
Donations support facility and technology upgrades, academic programs and scholarships, among other initiatives.
Plus, donors can designate a BOHF fund they want to support.
Students, staff and faculty donors who bring their receipts to the Office of Advancement, Communications & Alumni Relations by noon Sept. 20 will be entered to win a raffle prize. On the books for this year: gift cards to Target and Stackhouse.
Where to give:
- On your home or office computer
- Sixth Floor Foyer, Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry – Computer stations will be set up between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. complete with popcorn and lemonade refreshments.
