Recap: North Texas Giving Day 2016, by the numbers

|

Contributions from 38 donors on the Sept. 22 North Texas Giving Day translated to $9,600 in contributions for Baylor Oral Health Foundation.

During the 18-hour online fundraising initiative, 55 percent of BOHF donations were designated for one of the following funds:

  • William H. Binnie Oral Pathology Fund
  • Betty Scott Scholarship
  • Kimberly Campbell Research Endowment
  • Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Fund
  • The Peter H. Buschang Professorship
  • James Cole Professorship
  • The Terry Rees Fellowship in Stomatology/Periodontics
  • The N. Sue Seale Professorship in Pediatric Dentistry
  • Orofacial Pain Clinic Fund

Funds donated to BOHF are significant because the foundation, in turn, uses the funds to support and sustain world-class faculty, leading research, and academic programs and scholarships at Texas A&M College of Dentistry. Since the foundation was established in 1993, it has given $60 million to the College of Dentistry.
