The initiative, coordinated by the Texas Dental Association Smiles Foundation, provides no-cost cleanings, fillings and extractions to uninsured Texans. This specific event was staffed by more than 800 volunteers and dentists and dedicated solely to veterans and expected to provide care for approximately 1,000 individuals who have served our country.
