Smiles we remember: Dr. Loy Frazier
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of former faculty member Dr. Loy Frazier on Dec. 6.
A veteran of the United States Air Force, Dr. Frazier taught physiology at what was then Baylor College of Dentistry and was later honored as professor emeritus in the Department of Biomedical Sciences. He retired in 1995 after years of dedicated service to the dental school.
“Very nice gentleman and highly regarded physiology professor,” said Dr. Emet Schneiderman, professor in biomedical sciences. “He headed our physiology department before it was merged into the biomedical sciences department, along with the other basic sciences in the early 1990s.”
Funeral services were held on Friday, Dec. 20, at First Methodist Church in Mineola, Texas. You can read Dr. Frazier’s obituary.
