Svoboda receives honors for AAA service

Dr. Kathy Svoboda, Regents Professor in biomedical sciences, received the AAA/Wiley A.J. Ladman Exemplary Service Medal from the American Association of Anatomists on April 29 during the organization’s annual session in San Diego.

As part of the honor, given for exceptional service, mentorship and outreach, Svoboda, an association past president, received a plaque, $1,000 honorarium and presented a lecture titled “30 Minutes: Integrating Imaging, Cell and Developmental Biology with Teaching and Service.”
