Scavenger hunt kicks off Howdy Week
The fall semester is underway and Howdy Week is here again!
Howdy Week is Texas A&M University’s weeklong celebration of new and returning students, featuring numerous fun events and opportunities for the student body to learn more about the university’s resources. Festivities at the dental school kick off today with a scavenger hunt and continue through the end of next week.
The full schedule includes:
- Sept. 22-28: Instagram Scavenger Hunt: Follow and like @tamudental on Instagram, and keep an eye out for daily clues. Submit a total of three correct scavenger-hunt selfies for a chance to win a prize.
- Sept. 25: Student Resource Fair: Stop by Room 603 in the Administration and Education Building from noon to 1 p.m., enjoy some snacks and learn more about the school’s student resources. Visit at least five booths for a chance to win a prize.
- Sept. 26: Taco Tuesday: Coffee and tacos will be served 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. in Room 603 of the AEB.
- Sept. 27: Ice Cream Social: Beat the heat with some ice cream 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Room 603 of the AEB.
- Sept. 29: Maroon Friday: Come to the 4th floor lobby of the Clinic and Education Building from noon to 1 p.m. for a photo op with Texas A&M Yell Leaders and Aggieland’s First Lady, Reveille.
All events, except Maroon Friday, are for students only.
