Putting dental health first

Dental hygiene students Cristina Flores and Cora Owens provided dental health information to residents this past weekend at the T.R. Hoover Community Development Center in South Dallas.

The annual Me First Health and Wellness Fair typically serves more than 300 people, providing health screenings, blood pressure checks, as well as food and clothing for those who need it most.

The T.R. Hoover center was founded almost 30 years ago to help promote affordable housing, economic growth, and community development in the Bexar Street area of South Dallas.
