What women need
The 2013 Brauman-Bell Lectureship will offer an in-depth look at women’s oral health issues and trends.
What are some common oral health problems in women? And just how do women seek and utilize oral health care? On Thursday, Oct. 24, Dr. Gretchen Gibson will explore these questions and others during the 2013 Brauman-Bell Alpha Omega Lectureship.
The biennial event will explore the impact of sex and gender characteristics on women’s oral health and the important role of dentists in coordinating their care.
Gibson, a faculty member in the Department of Geriatrics at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, will discuss insights from more than 20 years spent teaching and practicing general dentistry and public health.
